Joyce Yeatts retired from Benchmark Community Bank after 23 years of service. On Friday, June 14, Benchmark employees and citizens wished Yeatts farewell. She was presented with a bench from the bank as a gift. Yeatts, who said she has been in the banking business for a total of 48 years, plans to enjoy retirement but stay busy and active. “It’s bittersweet,” she said, speaking of leaving. “The bank has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people that I will always treasure.” (Send “Way to Go!” photos with a description and names to WayToGo@FarmvilleHerald.com.)
