Wheeler announces bid for reelection

Parker Wheeler has announced his candidacy for reelection to the Cumberland County Board of Supervisors, 5th District, for the Nov. 5, election. This term is for a four-year period, in which he will serve the county residents.
Wheeler is currently the 5th District Supervisor where he has served tirelessly for the past eight years, according to the candidacy announcement. “It will be his pleasure to continue to serve the citizens of Cumberland County in this position. His mission is to serve and make decisions that continue to move the county forward while they benefit not only those in the 5th District but all citizens of the county,” the announcement cited.
His ability to serve in this capacity is complemented by his 50 years of service to the public in retail. Also, he has served on the Cumberland Planning Commission for 16 years prior to his election to the board of supervisors.
Wheeler expressed his great pleasure to be able to continue to serve in this capacity, and he is asking citizens of the 5th District for their continued support and their vote for re-election on Nov. 5.
