The annual spring luncheon of the Third Thursday Book Club was held at The Inn on the Avenues on May 16. Jane Hines and Allison Martin were the hostesses for the event. The speaker was Leanne Hill, a native of Buckingham County and author of the Christmas book, “The Giving Sack,” a children’s book that promotes generosity in children during the holiday season. The book comes with a red sack that the child must fill with used or unwanted toys that Santa will give to other children throughout the world. Pictured are Jane Hines, Leanne Hill and Allison Martin.
