The Buckingham County Youth League Majors all-star team produced a valiant rally against the Goochland All-Stars Tuesday night but ultimately fell short, 4-3, in the championship game of the 2019 Dixie Youth Baseball Major League District 4 Tournament in Dillwyn. Nevertheless, Buckingham advanced to the state tourney and will face the host team, Lunenburg, on July 5 at 8 p.m.
