Benchmark Community Bank held a Customer Appreciation Day on June 14 to celebrate the banks 30 years of operation in Farmville. The bank first opened in Farmville in 1989 and currently has two locations in town. “The Farmville location was the first expansion of Benchmark Bank outside of Lunenburg County,” said Jay Stafford, Benchmark Community Bank President. “We’ve been really well received here in Farmville, and it was a great move for us.” Pictured are several Benchmark Bank employees who took part in Friday’s Customer Appreciation Day.
