The 41st annual Hudgins Family Reunion was held on Sunday. A nice crowd attended with lots of food, fun and fellowship.

Cumberland County Landfill Alert Committee welcomes all citizens of Cumberland County and surrounding counties to a community meeting concerning the proposed landfill to learn more and receive information about the stand against this issue. The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a nonprofit organization, will be hosting its regular monthly meeting on Monday, June 3, at 5 p.m. at Browns Chapel United Methodist Church located U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn on State Route 617, Gravel Hill Road. The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a nonprofit organization, is sponsoring a one day bus trip Thursday, Aug. 1, to the Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre (WHDT) in Wytheville, to the show called “A Country Gospel.” WHDT is happy to present its version of “good ol’” country gospel. The production will feature favorite songs that you grew up singing from spiritual, happy, hand-clapping numbers to sweet beautiful inspirational hymns played by its talented musicians.
