Praying for the community

Representatives in Prince Edward County and the Town of Farmville commemorated the National Day of Prayer on May 2 by holding a time of prayer and worship at the steps of the Prince Edward County Courthouse.
Farmville Vice Mayor A.D. Chuckie Reid prayed for members of local government, Farmville Fire Chief Dean Farmer prayed for first responders and law enforcement, Musician Perry Carrington prayed for musicians and artists, Uptown Coffee Café Owner Jason Maddox prayed for area businesses and Author Jerry Todt prayed for members of the media.
