Lloyd William Allen Sr., 81 of Pamplin, Virginia, passed away May 25, 2019. Services will be held Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptich Church, Prospect with interment in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Prospect. Mr. Allen retired from The Farmville Herald after more than 30 years of service. Carl U. Eggleston Funeral Establishment is serving the family.
