Lisa Crone, 56, of Mechanicsville, passed away on May 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Overby.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Steve Crone; father, Dr. Lowell Thomas Overby; brother, Ray Overby and her two children, Elaine Renick and her husband, Dalton Renick and Clyde Crone and his wife, Rotem Crone.

Lisa was a lover of animals and all aspects of the outdoors. She enjoyed going to the beach, motorcycles and watching sports, especially UVA and VMI. Lisa loved teaching and taught elementary school, as well as Sunday school at her church. What she took the most pride in though, was being a mother and a wife.

A memorial ceremony was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Bliley’s-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, Va. followed by a gathering of family and friends.
