Prince Edward County High School’s varsity softball team is off to a 2-3 start this season, suffering some difficult losses last week, but Head Coach LaDonia Mujahid has pinpointed what needs to change and has confidence that better play is in her squad’s future.
She indicated that the Lady Eagles are lacking in confidence and need to believe that they may be down but are not out until the game is over.
“We need to find ways to dig deep and keep fighting as a team to turn some things around,” she said. “I feel that we are very capable of doing so.”
She said that in practice, “we will get back to the basics.”
