Buckingham County High School junior forward Jalen Chambers was named to the 2018-19 All-Region 2C second team.

“I am thrilled for Jalen to receive this honor,” Knights Head Coach Taylor Boyers said. “He was our most consistent player all season, and he has worked hard to deserve it. Offensively, we relied on him heavily throughout the year.”

Chambers averaged 13.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. He shot 80 percent from the foul line and 38 percent from three-point range.

Boyers said a lot of regional teams did not get to see him play, so “making the all-region team is a real testament to what a great season he had. We’re extremely excited to have him back for another year.”
