Ellen Taylor Hewit grew up in Farmville on High Street. Working for The Farmville Herald was her first job as a papergirl delivering the news up High Street and through the Avenues on Tuesday and Thursdays during her middle school years.

She was recently named Rookie of the Year at Joyner Fine Properties in Richmond. The award is based on outstanding sales and participation within a new real estate agent’s first year.
