The Rotary Club of Farmville recently hosted The Piedmont Area Veterans Council to speak to its lunch crowd at Charley’s Waterfront Café. Sarah Dunn and Polly Marsden represented the council and shared with Rotary some of the great outreach projects they are working on. The Piedmont Area Veterans Council assists active duty service members, veterans and their dependents/caregivers who reside in the counties of Amelia, Buckingham, Brunswick, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, Mecklenburg and Prince Edward.
