FFD responds to car fire on 460

The Farmville Fire Department (FFD) received a call early Tuesday afternoon that a vehicle was on fire on U.S. Route 460 in the eastbound lane, Farmville Fire Chief Dean Farmer cited.
“Engine 1 responded and was on scene within 10 minutes,” he said. “Upon arrival a single vehicle was found fully involved. The scene was under control within 10 minutes. No injuries occurred as a result of the fire.”
FFD received the call at 1:03 p.m.
