On Valentine’s Day members of the Buckingham County High School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) visited Heritage Hall in Dillwyn. There, members spread the love and joy that is associated with Valentine’s Day. They played six games of bingo, helped the residents make Valentine’s cards, and delivered bags of goodies to all residents. The students had a great time visiting with the residents. All the students agreed that watching the residents get competitive in bingo was enough fun. The members that were involved made great friends with the residents as well. The residents told the members about their families and their high school days, which all of the students really enjoyed listening to. Even though this activity was just a day trip, it has become a new tradition that will last for years to come.
