A vehicle accident that involved a car and a tractor-trailer resulted in the tractor-trailer overturning Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred in the area of Route 360 and Virso in Prince Edward County.

According to Meherrin Fire & Rescue Chief Trey Pyle, there was only one minor injury, and the person was transported to Centra Southside Community Hospital.

Pyle said the roadway had been closed while the tractor-trailer was being uprighted but is not certain of the current status.
