There will be a benefit spaghetti lunch, blind auction, door prizes and local vendor event Saturday, Feb. 2, from noon-3 p.m.at the Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department located at 30 Firehouse Road, Cumberland. If the event should be rescheduled due to inclement weather the date will be Sunday, Feb. 10, same time and place. This event is for offsetting funeral expenses and medical bills for 15-year-old William (Bubba) Bowles of Cartersville who recently passed away. Any funds left over from proceeds resulting from this event will go toward a scholarship in Bubba’s memory as family has requested. The lunch will include spaghetti, salad, roll and beverage for a donation. You may eat in or take out.
