Two Town of Farmville employees, Sergeant Danny Bowman pictured second from left, and Will Nash, pictured at right, were honored for more than 25 years of service to the town during the Farmville Town Council meeting Jan. 9. According to Town Manager Gerald Spates, Bowman is employed with the Farmville Police Department and Nash is employed as a surveyor. Nash, Spates said, began working for the town in August 1993. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1977-1981. Bowman began his employment with the town in February 1993, and was promoted to sergeant in March 2004.
