More than 400 children and families throughout the region participated in the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts’ (LCVA) annual Winter Wonderland Workshop program Saturday, sponsored by The Woodland. Children and grown ups, free of charge, got to decorate ornaments, get faces painted, listen to carols from the Longwood Center for Community Music, make paper snowflakes, decorate wrapping paper, eat snacks and gear up for the holiday season with activities provided by volunteers from the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Farmville Rotary Club and the Farmville Lions Club.
