Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howe of Buckingham are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Connor Matthew Howe to Maria Cristina Molina-Higgins. Maria is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Humberto Molina and Maria Eugenia Higgins of Medellin, Colombia. Her maternal grandparents are Wilson Higgins (deceased) and Amira Arteta of Atlantico, Colombia and her paternal grandparents are Humberto Molina (deceased) and Ana Isabel Coronell of Atlantico, Colombia. Connor’s maternal grandparents are the late Jim Y. and Teresa Hom of Freehold, NJ and his paternal grandparents are the late Joseph B. and Frances Howe of West Chester, PA.

Maria is a graduate of La Universidad Nacional de Colombia with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Connor is a summa cum laude graduate of Longwood University with a degree in Physics. Both are doctoral candidates in VCU’s Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Program. His research is developing aerosol drug delivery devices for newborns with respiratory distress and her research is based on improving radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients.

Wedding celebrations will be held in Virginia and Medellin, Colombia.
