Vernell Brown Coleman, age 71 of Bronx, NY, departed this life November 16, 2018. She was the niece of the late Minnie Dade of Buckingham County. She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, Lesa Durant Hackney of Lynchburg; one son, Louis Durant and one granddaughter, Blanca Bennett, both of Bronx, NY; one brother, Thomas Brown of Washington, DC; a host of relatives and friends.

Services were held at noon on December 5 at the Reid’s Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in the Brown Family Cemetery in Buckingham, County.
