One transported to hospital after accident

One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries with following a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Main and Wynne Drive Friday evening.
Officials with Farmville Police Department said at approximately 6:30 p.m., a 2000 Subaru Legacy was traveling north on South Main Street and turning left to enter Wynne Drive. The vehicle was struck by a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox traveling southbound through South Main Street.
The impact of the accident pushed the vehicles into a stationary 2016 Ford pickup truck awaiting the traffic light on Wynne Drive, police said.
The driver of the Subaru Legacy, Joshua Kodi, was charged with failure to yield right of way.
Farmville Police Department Captain William Hogan said the driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Centra Southside Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and released.
