New staff members were introduced to the members of the Cumberland School Board at the December meeting. Pictured are, from left, Helen Ames and Carter White. Not pictured is Emily Hahn. Hahn is a first-year teacher at Cumberland Elementary School who said that she completed her student teaching at CES and fell in love with the division. Ames is a first-year teacher English/ Language Arts teacher at Cumberland Middle School and stated that she knew she wanted to be in education when she was in second grade. White is a former Cumberland High School (CHS) graduate, who now teaches mathematics at CHS and will be the new head baseball coach.
