Classmates from Farmville High School class of 1958 celebrated their 60th reunion Oct. 3. The event was held at the Farmville Train Station — with an afternoon spent renewing and sharing fond memories from many years of friendships. A dinner for the group was prepared by “The Family Affair” catering service. There were 44 in attendance: 30 classmates and 14 guests. The classmates who attended were: Cecelia Anderson Beam, Henry Booth, Howard Clabough, Roy Cook, Ann Daniel Parker, Lucy Doyne, Lee Fahrner, Earl Fore, Joe Garland, Marjorie King Garnett, Buck Hartley, Clyde Huddleston, Joan Jacobs Simpson, Georgiana Kidd Gray, Elsie Layne Martin, Phyllis Layne Jones, Tom Layne, George Longsworth, Charles Martin, Ann Neathery Simpson, Roy Plunkett, Evelyn Price Farrier, Averette Simpson, Lena Rose Simpson Huddleston, Margie Spencer Hartley, Bill Uhrich, Frank Watson, Joan Williams Uhrich, Pauline Womack Spencer and Barclay Woodward Smith.
