Under the direction of CMS Dwayne Tigs, the cadets from the Cumberland JROTC presented the colors at the annual Cumberland Ruritan Veterans Day Breakfast held Monday at the Cumberland Firehouse. After presenting the colors, the cadets stayed for breakfast with the veterans. This has been an annual event for the Cumberland JROTC. In addition to attending the Cumberland Ruritan Veterans Day Breakfast, the Cumberland cadets also met and greeted veterans at the Farmville Applebee’s on Saturday and served as the color guard at the Cumberland Fall Festival.
