Crowds gathered at the High Bridge Trail Plaza in downtown Farmville Friday night for the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree. Sponsored by the Town of Farmville, Farmville Downtown Partnership and High Bridge Trail State Park, the event included hot drinks, cookies, crafts and lots of good cheer as participants welcomed in the holiday season with a rendition of “O Christmas Tree.”
