Bruce Henry Hogan Jr. age 74 passed away on November 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born in Lynchburg, Va on March 18, 1944. He grew up in Farmville, Va and worked for Centel for over 40 years. Upon retirement he went to work for Farmington Country Club. He was an avid golfer with a certification in club making. He was a member of Greene Hills Country Club, a steadfast supporter of UVA baseball and women’s basketball, but loved most spending time with his 10 grandchildren and family who brought him tremendous joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce H. Hogan Sr. and wife Myrtle Woodall Hogan and a sister Gayle Louise. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Helene G. Hogan; his daughter Tracy and husband Stephen Walker, their children Tyler and Mackenzie; sons Timothy and wife Stirling Ward, their children Graham, Madison, and Karis; Michael and wife Laura Ward, their children Benjamin and Carter; Von and wife Vanessa Ward, their children, Lukas, Jackson and Kameron; a sister Ellen Emert and brother William E Hogan and wife Linda; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday November 25, 2018.
