Colista Virginia Turner Booker, age 81, of Dillwyn, VA, died in Lynchburg, VA on October 13, 2018. Born February 13, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Cornelia Brown Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Booker. She is survived by seven children, Mary Josephine Turner, Angie Booker, George Booker, Alon Booker and Stewart Booker all of Buckingham County, VA, Claude Booker of Palmyra, VA, and Steve Booker of Petersburg, VA.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at the Crystal Cathedral, 16764 Oak St., Dillwyn, VA, 23936, with interment in the Morning Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
