I see in the paper that “judge rules against referendum concerning landfill.” I do not know the judge, but that doesn’t seem like governing of the people by the people for the people as is written. I realize that we live in a republic where we elect people to make decisions for us. When this country was set up, our leaders would ride on horseback and get input from the citizens and vote accordingly. Our supervisors do not pay any attention to input. We as humans create too much trash anyway; we have become a throwaway society. If we keep going at this rate we will have trashed ourselves out of a home (the earth). I think William Bruce deserves kudos for leading the charge in correcting an injustice!
