Trustee Arthur Lee Woodard, 93 of Columbia, Virginia departed this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at his residence.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathilyn “Kat” Williams; goddaughter, Joan DaSilva- Perkins; three grandchildren; Thomas Williams, Trevor (Julie) Williams, and Nicole Williams; two great-grandchildren, Naylah Williams and Hannah Williams; and a host of cousins and friends.
His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland where public viewing will be held Sunday July 8, from noon to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 11 a.m. at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Reverend Clifford Temple, Sr. Pastor Officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
