Visitors and residents had a pleasant treasure hunt Saturday as the Heart of Virginia made up a portion of the 100-mile yard sale that ran through Central Virginia, stretching from the South Boston area to past Amelia Courthouse. Area yard sales were located along Route 15, Farmville Road, at the Prince Edward Elk’s Lodge #269 on South Main Street and at the Farmville Antiques & Craft Mall at 62 Bayberry Lane. Participants sold knick-knacks, furniture, baked goods, beauty products and handmade items. The annual event was founded by Jerri Morton.
