Fellowship, fun at Meherrin fireworks show

Participants enjoyed fantastic weather, good food and live music leading up to the fireworks show at Meherrin Fire & Rescue during its annual celebration July 7. Early birds got to purchase quarts of homemade stew, where volunteers made approximately 500 quarts of stew for the sale.
