VMI graduates announced

More than 370 cadets received Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Virginia Military Institute during the commencement ceremony May 16. Former U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson addressed the Class of 2018 in VMI’s Cameron Hall. Graduating cadets included Liam N. Burke of Farmville, who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business with a Financial Management Concentration. Graduating honors include Distinguished Military Graduate, Army Commission and with distinction. Cadet Burke’s parents are Laurie D. Burke and Robert R. Burke Jr.
Ryan M. Aranzamendez of Crewe, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a Mathematics Minor. Cadet Aranzamendez’s parents are CPT and Mrs. Efren J Aranzamendez Jr.
