LYNCHBURG — Highway work requiring road, lane and structure closures is scheduled June 4-8, weather permitting. In Buckingham County crews will work on signs on Route 15 Business. Pavement widening with rumble strips, guardrail replacement/ upgrades and paving will take place through the summer months on Route 20, Route 15, Dillwyn to James River Bridge, (Albemarle). Flaggers and pilot vehicles will control traffic. Route 633 (665-639) will be closed June 29 for repairs. Crews will work shoulders on Route 633, work Rural Rustic projects on Routes 644 and 662. In Prince Edward County, milling and paving will take place overnight on Route 460 West from bypass toward Prospect. Estimated completion is summer 2018.
