Virginia Credit Union has awarded a $2,500 scholarship to Jesse Sanderson of Farmville.

Sanderson was selected on the basis of scholastic achievement, community service, extracurricular activities, an essay and work to help cover the cost of education. A 2018 graduate of Randolph-Henry High School, he is planning to attend Virginia Tech where he will study agribusiness management.
