Jean F. Shaw, age 86 of Cumberland VA died peacefully on June 21, 2018 in Farmville, VA.

She is survived by her son Clarence H. Shaw, Jr; daughter, Dr. Michelle R. Belle (Alfonso) of Cumberland, VA; three devoted grandchildren, Diamand J. Rich (Endia), Ivana M. Rich and Jule B. Rich; two precious great granddaughters, Karter Marie and Melanie Michelle; brother, Joseph H. Fleming (Shirley); three sisters-in-law, Blanche Fleming, Frances E. Fleming and Francis J. Fleming; other relative and friends.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland Virginia where public viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tearwallet Baptist Church, Cumberland.

The Reverend Sandy Carrington, pastor officiating, the Reverend Paul Wilson eulogist. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
