Farmville Donut and Kolaches, located at 1510 W. Third Street, held a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening with the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday. Farmville Town Mayor David Whitus spoke during the ceremony. Participants got to try samples of the savory kolache, which included sausage wrapped in a pastry, and purchase doughnuts of the sprinkled, chocolate covered and glazed varieties. The event saw long lines and energetic conversations.
