Brown selected for USILA all-star game

Hampden-Sydney College’s (H-SC) senior lacrosse standout Hunter Brown was selected to participate in the 77th annual U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) North-South Senior All-Star Game. The game was played at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on the campus of Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, on May 25.
Brown posted 56 points on 37 goals and 19 assists while being named to the Old Dominion Athletic Confernece (ODAC) All-Tournament Team and earning First-Team All-ODAC honors. He tied for the team lead in man-up tallies with five. Brown ended his four-year career ranked fifth in points (207), second in midfielder points and just one shy of tying the school record, second in assists (103) and 12th in goals (104).
He is one of only two players in H-SC history with 100-plus assists and is the only player to contribute 100-plus goals and 100-plus assists.
Additionally, Jason Archbell, a 2002 H-SC graduate, was selected as the head coach for the North division team. He is currently the head coach at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
