Tigers tennis team to host Lynchburg College in conference quarterfinals

The Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) tennis team earned the No. 3 seed for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) tournament and will host No. 6 seed Lynchburg College on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the tournament quarterfinals.

You can follow for live updates on the H-SC tennis Twitter account, which has the address of @TigerTennis1776. The Tigers faced Lynchburg once before this year during the regular season. They traveled to Lynchburg on April 18 and came away with a 7-2 win.

Hampden-Sydney swept the three doubles matches and picked up singles wins from sophomores Matthew Moody, Michael Moody, Clark Cummings and Grayson Burns. The winner of Wednesday’s quarterfinal match advances to play the winner of No. 2 Guilford College vs. No. 7 Randolph-Macon College in the semifinals, which will be hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University in Virginia Beach.
