Thomas Nelson ‘Bill’ Page

Thomas Nelson “Bill” Page, 300 Holman Mill Rd., Farmville, VA, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, at age 82. Mr. Page was born October 13, 1935, to John and Eva Page in Poquoson, VA. He graduated from Poquoson High School in 1953 and retired from Virginia Power on the Peninsula after 35 years as a meter servicer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joan C. Page. Together they built a home for their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren that was filled with joy and laughter. He is also survived by his daughter, Suzanne Page, and five grandchildren – Scott Collins, Sandy Collins Wright, Alan McAlexander, Katie McAlexander, and Cody Short. Mr. Page is also survived by nine great grandchildren – Melissa, Matthew, Maddie, and Macy Wright; Emily and Hunter Long; Autumn Scruggs; and Ethan and Gwyn McAlexander.

Mr. Page was preceded in death by his daughter, Jean Lee Page, and an infant son, Thomas N. Page, Jr.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, April 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Antioch United Methodist Church at 2706 Cumberland Road.
