Several dozen students in elementary, middle and high school had their artwork on display in the area of Cumberland County Public Schools’ cafetorium. Family members and friends had the opportunity to view the artwork during the county’s school board meeting Monday and view students from Cumberland receiving recognition for their recent art entries with Longwood Center for the Visual Arts, the Virginia School Board Association 2018 Art Contest and the Woman’s Club Art Contest among others. In addition, some student artwork was available for purchase. Above at left is Jonathan Marion’s vibrant watercolor design.
