Fellowship in the neighborhood

The Waterworks Players are gearing up for their next production “Gaslights.” The show runs April 13, 14, 21 and 22. All shows are at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale.

The Prospect Volunteer Fire Departments Auxiliary asks you to mark your calendar for April 28 for their next meal, Spaghetti Supper. The Eastern Star thanks each of you for your support for our Easter eggs sale.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith and their children, Christina, Charles, Brianna and baby Natalie, hosted Easter dinner at their home. Invited guests were Charles’ sister and her son, Emma Sharpe and Jeffrey of Hopewell and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith. They combined Easter dinner with an early birthday celebration for Pat, whose birthday was April 6.

A birthday celebration for Lois Gager was held at Merk’s Place. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Manis, Irene Layne, Flora Bolt, Donald Meadows and Mr. and Mrs. John Gager were in attendance. After lunch Liz Manis had arranged for a delicious coconut cake for dessert. Happy birthday Lois Gager.

Easter Sunday the Bolt family met at the home of Judy Bolt for lunch and fellowship. Those attending the fellowship were: Douglas and Betty Jean Bolt, Steve Bolt, Ashley Bolt, Payden and Haley Murdock, Stacy and Andrew Goss, Garland Woodson, Flora Bolt, Jenni Bolt, Joshua and Jacob Bolt, Jennifer Jones and son Thomas, Chris Bolt and Alexa Moser.

There was an Easter egg hunt for the children following lunch led by Chris Bolt.

Friends and neighbors are praying for a speedy recovery for Don Meadows, Fred Floyd and Betty Jean Bolt. Neighbors and friends are extending their heartfelt sympathy to the family of Reggie Eggleston.

P.E. Presbyterian Church at Tuggle invites you to worship with them each Sunday; Jim Blackwell will be the guest speaker on Sunday April 8.

The membership of Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church at Prospect invites you to come and worship with them every Sunday; Sunday School is at 10 a.m. with Worship at 11 a.m.

Calvary Chapel-Farmville invites you to worship with them on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. They invite you to join them each week on Wednesday evening for Bible Study, for all age groups, at 7 p.m. The Church is located at 302 Industrial Park Road, in the former Stackpole-Carbone building.

The Remnant Church invites you to worship with them on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m.; Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday nights at 6:30 p.m. The pastor is Jeff Spencer. The church is located at 1825 E. Third St., Farmville in the old Cedar Brook Restaurant building.

Concord Baptist Church at 12053 Francisco Road, Farmville invites you to their Sunday School at 10 a.m., Worship service at 11 a.m. and Bible study at 5:30 p.m. each Sunday.
