Prince Edward County High School’s varsity baseball team added a big win Thursday to its strong start, edging previously undefeated Central Lunenburg High School 2-1 at home. Senior Corbett Bowman pitched a complete game, allowing one run on four hits, with six strikeouts and only one walk.

The Eagles (3-1) played an error-free game, continuing to throw strikes and play outstanding team defense this year. Undefeated in district play, the Eagles face Nottoway High School in Crewe on April 10 at 5:30 p.m.
