Prepare for flight

Rangers at Holliday Lake State Park look to teach people young and old about the intricacies of flight in nature not just by telling, but showing.
“Come explore the world of flight by creating a take-home flying craft,” officials in a release from the park said about the March 25 event, taking place from 10-11 a.m. at the park amphitheater.
“See how long and far it will fly on our tiny, makeshift runway,” the release cited. “See how much weight it can carry. See if it can withstand the mighty wind. You’ll also get the chance to experiment with other flyers as well.”
