Nancy Lea Pigg Bell-Strole

In the early morning of March 17, 2018, God opened His arms to welcome His newest and most loyal angel. Nancy Lea Pigg Bell-Strole, age 81, of Amelia, “moved on” unexpectedly. A woman full of limitless love, wisdom, strength, and unselfishness, she epitomized a devout true Christian faith and love for her fellow man and for Christian missions.

She is predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Robert Franklin Bell, her nurturing parents, George Berlie Pigg, Sr. and Emma Long Pigg, and a beloved sister, Mary Belle Kennedy. Left to mourn are her best friend and husband of 11 years, Dennis Lynn Strole, her daughters, Mary Fran Bell-Johnson and Linda Diane Bell, her grandson, Robert Sean Fisher, step-daughters, Emily Wallace Strole and Ann Carlisle Knicely (Ryan), and step-grandsons, Micah Strole, Kanoa Watley, and Odin Asbell. She is also survived by her sisters, brother, sisters- and brothers-in law, nieces and nephews, cousins, church family, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Jetersville, Virginia. Her funeral will follow on Wednesday, March 21 at 11 a.m. at the church.
