A show that will feature emergency services equipment is set to come to the Farmville Fire Department on April 11.
The event, which is open to the public and will take place 6-8 p.m., will include various firetrucks and other vehicles used in emergency services that will be featured inside and outside the Farmville Fire Department, located at 1000 W. Third St., Chief Dean Farmer confirmed Wednesday.
Farmer said Atlantic Emergency Solutions, based in Manassas, will be heading the event.
“We’ll have Pierce Manufacturing here with some apparatus,” Farmer said. “We will also have a wide variety of rescue tools and equipment, and some rescue vehicles.”
He said wreckers, another type of rescue vehicle, will also be featured.
Farmer said this would be the first event of its kind that the Farmville Fire Department has hosted.
