The monthly meeting of the Cumberland Garden Club was held at the Cumberland Library on Feb. 27. President Elaine Myers presided over the business meeting. A local student’s request to sponsor her time at a Nature Camp was approved. Historian Barbara Daniels presented a program on Shamrocks, the “lucky plant.” Then each member made a shamrock card to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
