Belsches speaks at brewery

Elvatrice Parker Belsches with the American Civil War Museum speaks to an audience at Third Street Brewing March 13 about the life of Elizabeth Keckley, a former slave who was born in Dinwiddie County and became a woman’s dress designer, known for her designs for Mary Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln’s wife.
Belsches is the co-founder of the Central Virginia African-American Genealogical and Historical Society.
