A substantial crowd filled the Longwood University Health & Fitness Center on Saturday evening to show its support for the Robert Russa Moton Museum. People from the area and beyond gathered for the 2018 Moton Community Banquet. The keynote speaker was Nadine Marsh-Carter, CEO of Children’s Home Society of Virginia. A variety of accolades were handed out at the event, including the Moton Family Challenge Awards. The Royal Supremes Men’s Choir offered several musical selections, and Aramark Catering at Longwood provided the meal. To view more photos from the banquet, click here.
