Spaghetti supper set

Did you make it to the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary’s pancake supper on the 17? You did not make it, the weather was too bad? Think about that, what if your house, barn, shed or field was on fire with that kind of weather or worse would you expect the fire department to answer your call? Their next supper will be on the April 21 which will be their spaghetti supper.
Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Justus of Damascus spent the weekend of Feb. 10 with her mother, Hilda Allen of Prospect.
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith spent the weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina shopping, dining out and attending a concert presentation of “My Fair Lady” with the North Carolina Symphony. On Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith hosted the Faith Bible Fellowship monthly small group covered dish dinner at their home. Attending were Mrs. Hilde Watson, Mr. and Mrs. John Utzinger and Mr. and Mrs. Richard McClintock.
Congratulations go out to Trae and Jennifer Jones on the birth of their first a boy, Thomas Dale. Thomas Dale was born on Monday, Feb. 12. Grandmother Judy is very excited and great-grandmother Flora is beside herself with excitement.
Mrs. Peggy Kelsey and Mrs. Flora Bolt had lunch with Mrs. Judy Bolt on Sunday following the worship service at Appomattox P.E. Presbyterian church at Tuggle. The Rev. Buddy Woodson brought the message on Sunday. Buddy and Lois Woodson later traveled to Bluefield, West Virginia to spend a few days with his mother, Ramona. She is recovering from knee replacement surgery.
Richard and Margaret Stockton enjoyed Friday night at the Waterworks Players and their production of the play “The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church” by Bo Wilson.
